Your Spinalonga tour from Heraklion begins with a comfortable pick-up from selected locations in Heraklion and surrounding areas. Sit back and enjoy a scenic drive along Crete’s northern coastline as you head towards Elounda.

10:00 | Arrival at Elounda & Boat Boarding

Arrive at Elounda port and board your boat. The cruise begins across the beautiful Mirabello Bay, offering stunning coastal views.

10:50 – 12:00 | Kolokytha Bay – Swimming & BBQ

Arrive at the crystal-clear waters of Kolokytha Bay.
Enjoy time to swim, relax in the sun, or stay onboard while a freshly prepared BBQ meal is served. A perfect moment to unwind in a peaceful natural setting.

12:20 – 13:50 | Spinalonga island tour with a Guide

Sail to the historic island of Spinalonga and explore it with your professional guide. 
Discover its fascinating history as a Venetian fortress and later as a leper colony, while walking through its preserved paths and buildings.

14:20 | Return to Elounda & Departure by Bus

Spinalonga cruise Crete. comes to an end. Return to Elounda port and continue your journey by bus.

14:45 – 15:15 | Olive Oil Experience

  • Your tour guide will be there to assist you while on the ferry and on the bus. On this island of Spinalonga, you will enjoy a guided tour while in Agios Nikolaos town you will enjoy free time.
  • The island can get very hot, especially in the summer months. There's minimal shade, so bring sun protection (hat, sunscreen) and water. There are no shops on the island, so it's essential to come prepared.
  • Children under the age of 18 from EU countries could enter Spinalonga Island for free. However, policies regarding ticket prices and concessions can change.

Hotel pick up and drop off was a pleasant experience. Very punctual . Ferry ride was three hours long but atmosphere was nice except very cold. Bring a jacket! Only negative was the ferry ride was completely inside and windows did not allow for view.”
