Morning Departure Start your adventure by arriving at the port of Kardamena, where you'll board our boat, "Captain Dimitris," setting sail at 9:30 AM. Prepare for a scenic cruise that takes you directly to the heart of Nisyros.
Exploring Nisyros Upon reaching Mandraki Harbor, you have the option to take a bus to the island's highest point, standing at 2000 feet, for a small additional charge. This spot offers spectacular panoramic views that are not to be missed. For the adventurous, a descent into the active volcanic crater awaits, where you can experience the ground's tremors and see the sulfur springs up close.
Cultural and Natural Highlights After your volcanic adventure, a 25-minute bus ride will bring you back to Mandraki. Here, you can climb approximately 200 steps to visit the serene mountain monastery of Panagia Spirani. Spend the rest of your afternoon leisurely exploring the cobblestone streets of Mandraki, soaking in its unique atmosphere.
Return Journey The boat departs Mandraki at 15:30, marking the beginning of your return journey to Kardamena. The cruise back is approximately 45 minutes, allowing you some time to reflect on the day’s experiences as you enjoy the calming sea breeze.

Hotel pick up and drop off was a pleasant experience. Very punctual . Ferry ride was three hours long but atmosphere was nice except very cold. Bring a jacket!
