Morning Pick-up

Participants will be collected from designated pick-up points within the specified time frame. The exact pick-up time will be determined based on the location of your accommodation.

Set off on a memorable day trip from Rethymno to the beautiful Elafonisi Beach, which takes about 3 hours. As our scenic journey unfolds, be enchanted by the stunning gorges, lush valleys, and quaint villages that speckle Crete's landscape. This trip is a fantastic chance to take in the island's natural wonders.

During our journey to Elafonisi, we'll take a comfortable break after 2 hours of driving. We'll stop in a charming village where you can relax at a traditional café for 20 minutes. This pause is perfect for stretching your legs, enjoying a quick rest, or using the toilet. It's a great way to break up the trip and soak in some local atmosphere before we continue on to our beautiful destination

Upon arrival at the spacious parking lot, we'll walk for about 15 minutes to get to the main beach area.

At Elafonisi Beach, you'll enjoy roughly 4 hours of leisure to explore its breathtaking beauty. Swim in the clear blue waters, relax on the pink-hued sands, enjoy refreshments from the beach bar, and take photos of the stunning views. Elafonisi offers a peaceful environment perfect for relaxing and connecting with the natural world.

Following an unforgettable visit to Elafonisi Beach, we begin our return drive to Rethymno.

Evening Drop-off

Upon the conclusion of the tour, participants will board the buses and head back to their respective hotels, where they were originally picked up in the morning. The duration of the return journey to each hotel may vary depending on traffic conditions and the individual pick-up locations for each participant.

About the beach:

  • Participants may bring their own lunch box as there are not many options at the beach for lunch. There is only one traditional tavern located at the very entrance of the parking spot. Additionally, there are two beach bars and snack bars offering a variety of fresh drinks, beer, ice cream, coffees, and pies or sandwiches.
  • Elafonisi offers sunbeds and umbrellas, with prices ranging from €8 to €15 and possibly higher, depending on the month and sometimes even the hour of the day.
  • There are also toilets available on the beach, although there is a very small fee to use them.
